Last Thursday, the Hispanic American world celebrated the Hispanic Heritage Day, also known as Day of the Discovery of America, Day of the Race, or, Day of the Encounter of Two Worlds, depending on the country, and it is nothing more than commemorating the arrival of Admiral Christopher Columbus to the new world.
That day, I was at the other end of the city, and while driving back home, I decided to visit the Parque Ayacucho, an urban park located downtown, which was built between 1926 and 1933 to celebrate the first centenary of the Battle of Ayacucho and to pay homage to its main architect, the Venezuelan officer, Antonio José de Sucre, Marshal of Ayacucho.
The park has vehicular access and has an area of four hectares, just under 10 acres, and in its center has a beautiful monument as can be seen in the photos accompanying this post.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original images to my satisfaction.

El pasado jueves, el mundo hispanoamericano celebró el Día de la Hispanidad, también conocido como Día del Descubrimiento de América, Día de la Raza, o, Día del Encuentro de Dos Mundos, dependiendo del país, y no es más que conmemorar la llegada del Almirante Cristóbal Colón al nuevo mundo.
Ese día, me encontraba al otro extremo de la ciudad, y mientras manejaba de regreso a casa, tomé la decisión de visitar el Parque Ayacucho, un parque urbano ubicado en el centro, y que fué construído entre 1926 y 1933 para celebrar el primer centenario de la Batalla de Ayacucho y homenajear a su principal artífice, el oficial venezolano, Antonio José de Sucre, Mariscal de Ayacucho.
El parque cuenta con acceso vehicular y posee una extensión de cuatro hectáreas, poco menos de 10 acres, y en su centro cuenta con un hermoso monumento como puede observarse en las fotos que acompañan este post.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
