Photo Contest: Post Processing #16 [ENG/ESP]
For this new initiative by @bambuka from the World of Xpilar Community, all participants are asked to choose a photo of their own, and process it using the "inversion" filter in order to make it more decorative, or at least to obtain a radically different result.
In this sense, I chose a photo I took recently, where a human figure (the elder of my two sons), wearing the gown he wore in his Graduation Ceremony, with a background characterized by the presence of abundant vegetation, can be seen in the foreground..
Para esta nueva iniciativa del compañero @bambuka de la Comunidad World of Xpilar, se nos solicita a todos los participantes, escoger una foto propia, y procesarla haciendo uso del filtro de "inversión" con la finalidad de hacerla más decorativa, o al menos, obtener un resultado radicalmente diferente.
En este sentido, escogí una foto que realicé recientemente, donde se observa en primer plano una figura humana (el mayor de mis dos hijos), con la toga que usó en su Acto de Grado, con un fondo caracterizado por la presencia de una vegetación abundante.
With the above photo, I went into the Picsart application and applied the filter requested in this assignment.
Then I repeatedly modified the hue, looking for an image that was pleasing to the eye, since the color contrast was very noticeable, and in a way, unpleasant or unattractive.
Con la foto anterior, entré en la aplicación Picsart y apliqué el filtro solicitado en esta asignación.
Luego modifiqué en repetidas ocasiones el matiz, buscando una imagen que resultara agradable a la vista, dado que el contraste de colores era muy notorio, y en cierta forma, desagradable o poco atractivo.
Finally, I used the Snapseed application in order to modify the parameters of light, shadow, contrast, saturation and others in the image I chose, with the aim of obtaining a result that although it differs from the original photo, is not excessively abusive or transgressive of reality.
Snapseed, unlike Picsart, does allow you to take screenshots during the processing of the images, and although it does not offer in its free version, a catalog of filters as wide and varied as Picsart, the results I get usually have better resolution.
Finalmente, usé la aplicación Snapseed con la finalidad de modificar en la imagen que escogí, los parámetros de luz, sombra, contraste, saturación y otros, con el objetivo de obtener un resultado que aunque difiere de la foto original, no resulte excesivamente abusivo o transgresor de la realidad.
Snapseed a diferencia de Picsart, si permite tomar capturas de pantalla durante el procesamiento de las imágenes, y aunque no ofrece en su versión gratuita, un catálogo de filtros tan amplio y variado como Picsart, los resultados que obtengo tienen usualmente mejor resolución.
On this occasion, I present for the consideration of my readers, the following image, where green and ochre tones predominate, and that somehow seems to reflect a volcanic eruption, which is what the colors in the sky suggest to me, while rivers of lava move at the feet of the human figure located in the center.
In any case, I feel that the processing injected a very high dose of drama to a very surreal image of what could be an alternate reality or a parallel universe, depending on what the viewer considers.
En esta ocasión, presento a consideración de mis lectores, la siguiente imagen, donde predominan las tonalidades verdes y ocre, y que de alguna manera, pareciera reflejar una erupción volcánica, que es lo que me sugiere los colores en el cielo, mientras ríos de lava se desplazan a los pies de la figura humana ubicada en el centro.
En cualquier caso, siento que el procesamiento inyectó una altísima dosis de dramatismo a una imagen muy surrealista de lo que pudiera ser un realidad alternativa o un universo paralelo, según lo que el espectador considere.

For me, the lava flowing out of the volcano appears to be red and black (fire and soot ...)
