Colour of the Week Contest || Orange [ENG/ESP]
"There is no blue without yellow and without orange."
Vincent Van Gogh
Orange
This is my first participation in this initiative of the WorldOfXpilar Community, where every week a new color is chosen, which must be present or predominate in our graphic composition. This time the color selected by @charter is orange.
A couple of years ago, while driving along an avenue in the north of my city, Barquisimeto, I noticed the installation of a new sculpture or statue in the surroundings of a square commonly known as Grandparents' Square (Plaza de los Abuelos), because there is a monument commemorating the elderly.
The sculpture represents a woman with a wide and long dress, typical of past times, black gloves, and covering her hair, what seems to be a cap or hat, however, I could not find any information about the author, the materials used in its elaboration, or even the name of the work.
The place selected for its installation is a large public space that serves as a sidewalk and is located in front of a residential complex with buildings of a few floors, which were also remodeled and painted, probably by the municipal authorities as part of the work of cleanliness and ornamentation that corresponds to them.

Naranja
