Waterfalls of Iceland - Imprinted by LightCaptured
Hi!
Today I won't be telling you about my experience with waterfalls in Iceland. I would rather raise a question and I could bet I will not get any exact response to it.
As I may have mentioned before, I had the chance and the luck to take a full round trip around Iceland, on their road #1.
It took me and my friends at that trip 8 (eight) days to accomplish that, as our main objective was to make beautiful photos.
So my question today would sound like this:
Exactly how many waterfalls are there in Iceland?
As I drove on road #1 I am sure I saw hundreds of them.
After a quick research, I found out the estimated number is actually about ten thousands!!!
Wow, indeed. Thinking of it, I am sure the number will vary from day to day as some of them go dry on some days, and other probably freeze in the colder days/nights...
Now, it's time for some of my waterfalls photos from Iceland.
There is a selfie included too but you may need a magnifying glass to see me! :) Also, the first and the last one are long-exposures, I have to brag and rewards myself for bringing that heavy tripod, right :)

Hehehe, so true! My Canon 5D and all the L-series lenses are waterproof, I mean, they can't swim but rain's ok :)
What you don't see on that picture is the queue of people behind the camera, waiting their turn to take a picture on that rock :)))
да, в таких местах сложно сделать уникальный снимок.
Так много народа что-то снимает и при этом с одних и тех же локаций.
Но места исключительно красивые.
Surprisingly, here it was all very civil. Normal people, understanding everyone has to wait.
Generally, I don't mind people, even when there are more it sometimes turns into Street Photography :)))
Getting the best from the present situation, right ;)
поснимать портреты людей в ожидании своей очереди ... наверняка у всех будут разные эмоции ))
...and hopefully nobody has tomatoes or raw eggs with them to throw at me too :D
