I think I am very lucky to have two nice orange cats looking after the house for me. In the past, we had six cats; but things happened like stray dogs’ attacks, cats getting lost far away in fields so I have only two cats nowadays.

They have grown quite big and fat during the last three years. But they are very gentle and sensitive cats. Even my neighbours who didn’t like cats Tim’s me she liked my cats. These are very timid and shy cats. But they are loving cats and they show their affection.

I have tried to put them on a diet a few times. The project fell miserably and they got fatter; they knew they would have less food so they gobbled up everything for fear of getting hungry. I had to give up trying to get them on a diet. They lost weights and didn’t eat too much on their own.

So, no more cats on a diet! I get them to run in the garden in the evening. They like this game of chase and run. They are just like little children playing games.

These are very smart cats and they sometimes answer my questions. They gave special sounds of syllables and short words; it’s just like a foreign language to me. I hope that they will continue to guard my house and keep me company for a long, long time.
