Happy Caturday: my cats are getting fat and more independent.

I had to be back in the city to follow up my unfinished tasks and burdensome but compulsory responsibility. I should not complain as I still have several blessings. I did over work in the garden during the afternoon. Now I have to take the consequences of heat stroke and painful back. This makes my pace slower a lot! Perhaps someone just wanted me to be more meditative and be watchful of my breathing and movements.

This slow pace is just like being on a meditation retreat; mindfulness has to be alive most of the time. I was too hectic and in a rush most of the time last week. So, this sudden change may be intentional for making come back to the present.

My cats are getting fatter and more independent. They have become fully grown adults with their own likes and dislikes. The sister cat tends to be more timid and stubborn than her brother cat. But they are both very sweet and gentle cats with good manner in the kitchen.

The younger cat has her own favourite spot for sleeping and won’t easily give up her place without a wrestling match. The brother cat has found his new hiding place for sleeping without being disturbed. I couldn’t find him the whole day. I knew he was somewhere inside the house.

It’s fun seeing these orange cats growing up and becoming more confident. I like to see how they behave in the garden. The sister cat is fond of running around like a rocket and jumped onto tree. She could climb up trees to five meters. But the bigger cat would jump on lower branches of the mango trees. He’s too heavy and long for climbing tall trees. I just hope they would stay strong and healthy all the time.

These cats are very good companions and personal bodyguards in the evening. They always watch my back for me.
