Human Rib Cage - remake

Hello everyone,
thank you very much for taking the time to watch my posts.

I want to share with you some steps of the work progress to reach an old-style drawing.
The challenge here is to remake a drawing as accurate as possible to the original old-style, then very little space for creativity but anyway very interesting as exercise and learning from other artists' work.

The first stage is a full and accurate outline drawing. This was done using Photoshop.

At this stage, I was focused only on the drawing of the rib cage to achieve a finishing emulating a charcoal drawing.

Here I gave the color to all the flowers, looking for a balance of luminosity, contrast, complementary colors, or between opposite colors.

Finally, I painted all the details of each flower to obtain a realistic result as it was done in the old style drawing.

The black background is just because I like to see how the colors bring out over it, the final presentation will be on an old paper texture that matches better with the drawing style.
