Greetings to all. It is a pleasure for me to participate in the NINTH WRITING AND PAINTING CONTEST and to share with you the love of art and writing. This is the first time that I have participated in this contest. Hope you like.

I know that I am not the only one who is worried but we have to change our attitude because we have very little time and mother nature is crying in pain. The world keeps turning, while people yearn for more and don't stop to think that we could lose our paradise. How can we change for the better? Killing the lungs of the Earth. How far are we prepared to go? If we don't do something, many species will soon perish. We should have learned by now, but it is not too late to change course and see and feel all the beauty we have in this world.

Yo sé que no soy el único que está preocupado pero tenemos que cambiar nuestra actitud porque tenemos muy poco tiempo y la madre naturaleza está llorando de dolor. El mundo sigue girando, mientras la gente anhela más y no se detienen a pensar que podríamos perder nuestro paraíso. ¿Cómo podemos cambiar para mejorar?, matando los pulmones de la Tierra. ¿Hasta dónde estamos preparados para llegar?, si no hacemos algo muchas especies perecerán pronto. Deberíamos haber aprendido a estas alturas, pero no es demasiado tarde para cambiar de rumbo y poder ver y sentir toda la belleza que tenemos en este mundo.
