When King David counted his people; Was this a right manner to do these things?

You know, you can be proud or sad when being a king. And King David counted his people, and that was a wrong action, since he had to be too proud and having too much self-confidence. But counting in itself is not a wrong action, and many people are doing that also in business life, to see which alternative or which option that had the highest score, and what this meant for employers, employees and customers being engaged in the products to the firm in question.

It is nothing wrong with counting the people or the relevant population, but it is the reasons or the philosophy behind that kind of action that comes under the magnifying glass. And King David counted the population due to the fact that he thought he was better than any other kings or queens on the planet, and therefore this action was not sensible, and it was a sin of him. So, we should be humble and proud in the life, and we should find meaningful balance with these two things.

King David told the LORD that he had done a terrible and wrong action with counting the people, and that this should not be done again. After that stupid action and even before David even got up the next morning, the Lord had told David's prophet Gad to take a message to David. Gad went to David and told him:

You must choose one of three ways for the LORD to punish you: Will there be seven years when the land won't grow enough food for your people? Or will your enemies chase you and make you run from them for three months? Or will there be three days of horrible disease in your land? Think about it and decide, because I have to give your answer to God, who sent me. David was really frightened and said, «It's a terrible choice to make! But the Lord is kind, and I'd rather be punished by him than by anyone else». So that morning, the Lord sent an angel to spread a horrible disease everywhere in Israel, from Dan to Beersheba. And before it was over, 70,000 people had died.

So, when going to the wars that is described in the Bible, you can win or lose. And many fights in reality that are going on is a battle between life and death. So, any kind of defense strategy or attacking strategy or a combination is used to think in sensible ways, and that we should win the wars, just as the wars are coming. And many things are happening with a cluster, and with a way of grouping people and firms, and that is also due to the fact of what happens when being employed with something in working life.

Pythagoras was engaged with numbers. And he meant that everything is numbers, and that the reality can be organized in figures and with percentage of doing things in such way or another way, and the choices and the alternatives are coming and structured about what is possible to do from situation to situation. And the teachers and the professors are learning the pupils, the students and the people about these things. And everything that is possible to be counted, can be counted on, and we need a structure in reality to explain what is happening from time to time and from place to place. So, marketing and analysis are about finding the employer, the employees and the customers, asking them questions, and delivering these results to the company where we are working, and after that we should do required actions, if anything is required.

How did King David fall into sin? David was under the displeasure of the Almighty, for his adultery with Bath-sheba, and his murder of Uriah; and God let his enemies loose against him. David's discussion with Nathan, however, happened after the birth of the baby David fathered with Bathsheba. Therefore, the discussion must have been at least nine months after David's first transgression. Furthermore, the Lord had to send Nathan to David instead of David going to Nathan to confess.
