The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #150 - Sete Cidades

This photo was taken on the Azorean island, São Miguel. This place might be the most spectacular place on the island – Sete Cidades which is a huge volcanic crater with two lakes on the bottom. The photo was taken on a walk along the shores of one of the lakes. We were supposed to do a hike on the crater rim, but because of fog the visibilety was poor.
