The history of music artists: The case of John Prine!
John Prine was an American country- and folk singer, guitarist and songwriter. And he was loved and admired several places, and you still experience his songs in TV- and in radio- channels.
John Prine was born on 10 Oktober 1946 in Maywood in Illinois in the United States of America. His spouse was Fiona Whelan Prine in the period 1996-2020. They had two children together, and these were Tommy Prine and Jack Prine. John Prine was known for songs as: «Hello In There», «Sam Stone» and «Angel From Montgomery». John Prine died on 7 April 2020 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville in Tennessee in USA. John Prine, a wry and perceptive writer whose songs often resembled vivid short stories, died Tuesday on 7 April in Nashville from complications related to COVID-19. His death was confirmed by his publicist, on behalf of his family. He was 73 years old.
Today, you find John Prine on several platforms, but the most known of them, are the ordinary platforms as YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify and Deezer. What are the most known of John Prine’s songs in addition to the mentioned ones? His had a top ten list, and the songs that was here were: «You Never Even Called Me By My Name» From David Allan Coe's 'Once Upon a Rhyme' (1975), «Illegal Smile», «Mental Cruelty» From «For Better, or Worse» (2016), «Angel From Montgomery», «Everything Is Cool», «In Spite of Ourselves», «Some Humans Ain’t Human» and «Sam Stone».
Many of Prine’s songs are characterized by a witty humor, and the songs are considerations about the life, the love and societal phenomena, for instance the wars in the world. And trouble and problems in the societies when it comes to crime and being enemies forever are money, sex and revenge.
John Prine is also mentioned on the music videos on the Internet, and the songs are: “Remember Everything”, “Hello In There” and “Summer’s End”. And John Prine is known for several music albums as for instance: “In Spite of Ourselves”, “John Prine Live”, “The Tree of Forgiveness” and “Souvenirs”. Accordingly, we find several songs about life and ourselves among John Prine’s songs, and we also experience songs in the environments where we are from time to time.
What happened to John Prine’s face? In early 1998, Prine was diagnosed with squamous-cell cancer on the right side of his neck. He had major surgery to remove a substantial amount of diseased tissue, followed by six weeks of radiation therapy.
John Prine won several Grammy Awards for his music when he was living. And in 2005, he won the prize «Americana Music Honors & Awards Artist of the Year».
What about the quality of arts in the family Prine? Nashville philanthropist and Oh Boy Records president Fiona Whelan Prine is among eight figures nominated by President Joe Biden to join the National Council on the Arts. Therefore, Fiona Whelan Prine is known for quality, and even the president of the United States of America is loving and respecting her, and she can win a prize for her contributions to modern societies. Fiona Whelan Prine, the wife of late songwriting legend John Prine, was chosen for her "expansive viewpoint to the American roots music community" as label president and overseer of John Prine's catalog, and this is coming from the White House.
