Officially, it is called Kirov-Kotlassky-2. Once upon a time, or rather 120 years ago, freight and passenger trains began to run from this station to the North, and it became possible to transport goods to the port on the Northern Dvina - Kotlas. The ships sailed along the Northern Dvina River to Arkhangelsk, into the White Sea, and went to European ports.
At that time, there was no single railway line in the country, but there were separate sections. This station was located on the Perm-Vyatka-Kotlas road.
But at the beginning of the 20th century, the grandiose construction of a railway from east to west began, connecting Vladivostok and Moscow and further west.
