Hi @adeljose, that is an interesting topic and there were a lot of talks about silencing or muting the posts.
I am for muting the posts in such situation like: plagiarism, abuse. But I am not for muting if someone does not like the post of others. Also I remember not long ago one of the community was muting the people if they were posting in their community without being a member. That is in my opinion not appropriate because the post then is censored for nothing. I believe if someone does not like something in the post then he should let the person know and explain it. In majority of situation it is a lack of communication that brings to all the conflicts :)
Hola @Stef1, coincido contigo con el silenciar las publicaciones si esta tiene plagio. Considero que el estar en Steemit debe de ser una oportunidad de expresión y compartir, mas no de copiar y pegar.

I fully share your criteria, it is unfair that a publication is silenced simply because the content is not oriented to some internal policies of the community. In that case, the only thing that should happen is that you do not support the publication and that's it.

Hola @adeljose este tema es interesante ya que no hemos pasado por eso de silenciar una publicación pero recuerdo que una de nuestras maestra que esta en steemit en su primera semana estrenando la plataforma realizo un artículo muy interesante sobre matemática sobre como llevar la contabilidad para que tu negocio sea exitoso a través de una programación matemática y claro cuando nos sentamos con ella para ayudarla y cuadrarle su post todos estábamos emocionados y como no sabíamos sobre comunidades lo publico en una comunidad que cuando leímos se refería a eso y la silenciaron y nunca supimos el porque y estoy de acuerdo con los expertos que tocaron el punto que siempre debe existir comunicación mas si uno es nuevo deben explicarle para no volver a publicar en esa comunidad, la comunicación es importante en la plataforma.
Y esta la otra parte que nosotros fuimos plagiados para publicarlo en otra plataforma y después que nos dimos cuenta y notificamos silenciaron las publicaciones eso si debe hacerse porque como dicen nuestros amigos @stef1 y @jacorv debemos de escribir artículos originales sin copiarse porque eso es algo malo el robarle el trabajo a otro.
Pero insisto que lo mas eficiente y correcto es expresar lo que nos nos gusta pera que exista esos lazos de comunicación eso es lo mas importante en steemit
Así es. Es normal tener referencias de otros lugares, es más... ¿Desde cuando no ves algo creado desde cero? ¿Algo innovador realmente? Es muy poco probable, por ello las referencias siempre son validas, siempre y cuando sean eso, referencias y no plagios directos!

Esto suele suceder con los nuevos usuarios y es ahí donde no gusta mucho la aplicación de esta acción, ya que el usuario no cuenta con los conocimientos y experiencias a la hora de usar las etiquetas. Es cierto muchos no dan a conocer el motivo de aplicar el muteado a las publicaciones.
Ahora bien, a nadie se le debe aceptar el plagio de información cuando éste escribe que es de su autoría, debe ser amonestado con una advertencia.

Hello friend, I particularly agree with silencing a publication if we find a plagiarism or some fault towards the community, otherwise I think we can guide the user to correct the errors, I think we will give a better image if we take the time to communicate and teach that attacking from the first occasion as some communities do on the platform.
Many times people do not read the rules of a community, but it may be due to ignorance, so the ideal would be to help and guide. Greetings!

I agree with you, I think we gain more by educating users than by silencing their posts, this will make them not post again in the community and that is what we want less as an administrator or moderator.

Hola @adeljose muy interesante el tema claro yo digo que hay sus normas para silenciar una publicación pero si no es por plagio, ni otro motivo sino que es original y lo publico en una comunidad que a lo mejor no sabia que era allí donde lo tenia que publicar me parece injusto, porque primero considero que se debe hablar con la persona realizar una buena comunicación y atesorarla no silenciar de una vez su post porque errar es de humanos
