Hi @adeljose, that is an interesting topic and there were a lot of talks about silencing or muting the posts.
I am for muting the posts in such situation like: plagiarism, abuse. But I am not for muting if someone does not like the post of others. Also I remember not long ago one of the community was muting the people if they were posting in their community without being a member. That is in my opinion not appropriate because the post then is censored for nothing. I believe if someone does not like something in the post then he should let the person know and explain it. In majority of situation it is a lack of communication that brings to all the conflicts :)
Hola @Stef1, coincido contigo con el silenciar las publicaciones si esta tiene plagio. Considero que el estar en Steemit debe de ser una oportunidad de expresión y compartir, mas no de copiar y pegar.

I fully share your criteria, it is unfair that a publication is silenced simply because the content is not oriented to some internal policies of the community. In that case, the only thing that should happen is that you do not support the publication and that's it.
