Tom love eating apple pie so his mother often prepare it for him. Whenever the mother prepare it she keep a piece of apple pie for Philip. Philip is the son of a road cleaner and he comes to clean everyday and play with a ball. Tom and Philip are same age but Philip doesn't go to school because his father is a poor man. Tom's mother fed Philip not only apple pie but also other foods she prepare everyday.

This way around seven years Tom's mother fed Philip because she feel pity on Philip as he lost his mother at his early age. One day suddenly Philip and his father stopped coming and cleaning. When Tom's mother asked other about them from their neighbors they couldn't provide any information. But a new cleaner let her know that Philip's father got a lottery and they went to Canada.

17 years later Philip come back and went to the house where there Tom's mother live. He find her sick inside the room and there was none to take care of her. Philip asked her neighbor about Tom and they told that Tom lives in North America now and her mother live alone in the house as she was a single mother of Tom.

Philip take care of mother and told her that he is Tom. When she overcome weakness and illness she start cooking and she used to call Philip with the name Tom. One day Philip decide to tell the mother truth because he was guilty as he was Philip not the real son Tom. Philip was scared and he told that he is not Tom and his has a family with wife and two sons, the mother smile and told I know you are not Tom since the day one because Tom was died 6 years ago is a ocean trip and his dead body was missing. Tom's mother didn't share this news with anyone because she was alone but strong enough to fight with her griefs and sorrows.

Philip cried and told her that he was the son of street cleaner whom she fed foods many times. Philip still miss the apple pie the mother prepare. Mother request him to be her Tom. Philip is now a successful businessman and he takes care of the mother as his own mother. Philip shift his family here for the mother and now they are living a happy life together. The mother get a family and she start living a good life once again.

Tom adora mangiare la torta di mele, quindi sua madre gliela prepara spesso. Ogni volta che la madre la prepara, conserva una fetta di torta di mele per Filippo. Filippo è il figlio di uno spazzino e viene tutti i giorni a pulire e a giocare con un pallone. Tom e Philip hanno la stessa età ma Philip non va a scuola perché suo padre è un uomo povero. La madre di Tom ha dato a Philip non solo la torta di mele ma anche altri cibi che prepara ogni giorno.

In questo modo, per circa sette anni, la madre di Tom ha nutrito Philip perché prova pietà per Philip perché ha perso sua madre in tenera età. Un giorno improvvisamente Filippo e suo padre smisero di venire a pulire. Quando la madre di Tom ha chiesto informazioni su di loro ai vicini, questi non hanno potuto fornire alcuna informazione. Ma una nuova donna delle pulizie le ha fatto sapere che il padre di Philip ha vinto una lotteria e sono andati in Canada.

17 anni dopo Philip tornò e andò nella casa dove viveva la madre di Tom. La trovò malata all'interno della stanza e non c'era nessuno che si prendesse cura di lei. Philip ha chiesto al suo vicino di Tom e loro hanno detto che Tom vive in Nord America adesso e sua madre vive da sola in casa poiché era una madre single di Tom.

Philip si prende cura della madre e le dice che lui è Tom. Superata la debolezza e la malattia inizia a cucinare e chiama Philip con il nome Tom. Un giorno Philip decide di dire la verità alla madre perché era colpevole in quanto era Philip e non il vero figlio Tom. Philip era spaventato e ha detto che non è Tom e che ha una famiglia con moglie e due figli, la madre sorride e dice "So che non sei Tom dal primo giorno perché Tom è morto 6 anni fa è stato un viaggio sull'oceano e il suo mancava il cadavere. La madre di Tom non ha condiviso questa notizia con nessuno perché era sola ma abbastanza forte da combattere i suoi dolori e le sue pene.

Filippo pianse e le disse che era il figlio di uno spazzino a cui lei aveva dato da mangiare molte volte. A Filippo manca ancora la torta di mele preparata dalla madre. La madre gli chiede di essere il suo Tom. Philip ora è un uomo d'affari di successo e si prende cura della madre come se fosse sua madre. Philip ha trasferito qui la sua famiglia per la madre e ora vivono una vita felice insieme. La madre mette su famiglia e ricomincia a vivere una bella vita.
