ROMA CAPUT MUNDI.
Roma museo a cielo aperto di capolavori di architettura di qualsiasi epoca storica.
Dal 753 A.C. a oggi ne ha di cose da raccontare.
La cosa bella è che nonostante la sua veneranda età, riesce sempre a stare al passo coi tempi, almeno per quanto riguarda l'arte.
E la Street Art è la forma d'arte più attuale che ci possa essere e convive benissimo con il patrimonio artistico del passato.

Se una volta era quasi considerata illegale, oggi la Street Art viene addirittura commissionata da privati per sponsorizzare un evento importante o da enti pubblici per riqualificare gli spazi urbani in stato di abbandono.

Che cosa c'entra una città come Roma con la Street Art?

Artisti da tutto il mondo hanno contribuito a rinnovare vie e quartieri della città eterna con ben 330 opere di Street Art, hanno trasformato le facciate dei palazzi dei quartieri di Roma, anche quelli di periferia, in gigantesche opere d'arte a disposizione dello sguardo di ogni passante.

Purtroppo in questo periodo la pandemia ci costringe nuovamente a stare chiusi in casa per cercare di diminuire i contagi da covid, dopo un anno ancora in preoccupante crescita.

Allora quale migliore occasione per fare una passeggiata virtuale in una delle città più belle del mondo comodamente dal nostro divano di casa?

Si può iniziare da un tour originale attraverso 150 vie in cui sono presenti le opere di Street Art per vedere la città da tutta un'altra prospettiva, scaricando la mappa messa a disposizione dal comune di Roma.

Poi c'è il progetto di Arte Contemporanea Urbana del gruppo GRA ART, che si occupano delle Urban Art realizzate sulle pareti del Grande Raccordo Anulare, la tangenziale che si snoda per 68 km circondando il centro della città e la collega con tutti gli altri quartieri e i comuni limitrofi.

Un'idea originale è sicuramente l'app STREETART ROMA sviluppata da Artribune e Toyota, che ci può guidare alla scoperta dei murales disseminati per le vie della capitale, trovando tutte le informazioni sulle opere, le loro immagini, il percorso migliore per raggiungerle.

Unfortunately, in this period, the pandemic forces us to stay indoors again to try to reduce covid infections, after a year it is still in worrying growth.

Then there is the Urban Contemporary Art project of the GRA ART group, which deal with the Urban Art created on the walls of the Grande Raccordo Anulare, the ring road that winds for 68 km surrounding the city center and connects it with all the other neighborhoods and neighboring municipalities.
