👉 There is only one MONNALISA! 🤔 Over a multitude of different versions.🖼️
Among the most famous works in the world, a place of honor must surely be assigned to the Gioconda of the great Leonardo da Vinci.
But from the 15th century to the present, many artists have been inspired by the oil painting on a poplar wood panel to give their personal version of the work.
How many artists wanted to confront Leonardo's masterpiece, who to honor the genius of the author, who for competitive spirit, others in the attempt to desecration or simply to transform it into a more modern work in step with the current times.
Whatever the reason, today you just need to scroll through Google to get an idea of how many versions of Monnalisa exist.
Among the best known, there is an image of the Mona Lisa with a mustache, from 1919 by the Dadaist artist Marcel Duchamp, that has shocked and amused a large number of critics of art history from half the world.

Moreover this year on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death in Pavia - Italy - from November 24th 2019 to March 29th 2020, thirty-nine artists reinterpreted the Gioconda in a pop key for the "Looking for Monna Lisa" Exhibition.
Here are some works.

But where is it easier to come across what most resembles the original Monnalisa but carries a direct message with it?
Certainly the STREETS.
Here STREET ART comes into play, the most contemporary artistic expression and always at the center of great controversy.
