Do you know? There has been some uncertainty about the future of the World Cup recently, especially due to the political situation in the country. Asif Mahmood said that he has already started working on organizing the World Cup and he strongly believes that the tournament will not go outside Bangladesh. He further said, "If such an event is canceled during the formation of the country, it will be detrimental to the image of the country."

He also mentioned that the current situation in the country has become more stable than before and the government has already taken various steps. The recent student-crowd movement has created unrest in the country, due to which the hosting of the World Cup is also uncertain. But the current situation is improving, and he hopes that plans to host the World Cup will go ahead as before.

Asif Mahmood also said, "I haven't been able to go to the ministry yet, but I will go there very soon and make all the preparations to host the World Cup."

It is clear in his words that he is optimistic about hosting the World Cup. Asif Mahmud also mentioned that the discussion on the reforms needed for the development of the country's sports infrastructure will start soon. He said, "We are fortunate that Yunus sir is with us. But we need to take some more steps to ensure international standard security."

Asif Mahmood also mentioned maintaining regular contact with ICC and other international organizations. He said, "We are in close touch with the ICC regarding hosting the World Cup. We are ready to answer all their queries and fulfill all their requirements."

But after all, there are some challenges with hosting the World Cup. If the political and social situation in the country is stable, and the government takes the right steps, Bangladesh can successfully host this big event, he said.

This positive outlook of Asif Mahmood is acting as a great beacon of hope for the sports lovers of the country. Everyone is hoping that Bangladesh will once again be able to prove its sporting power on the international stage by hosting the World Cup.
