First blockchain-based decentralized search engine (Part 01)

in Tron Fan Club3 days ago

Decentralized search engines are vastly different from traditional search engines. If we understand the nature of this difference, we can basically understand why decentralized search engines are important to us. So I will continue to discuss this topic but in today's post, I will highlight the background behind the start of this decentralized search engine and also the problem that motivated the idea of this decentralized search engine to solve.

BitClaveis pioneer in the world of search engines. It is the first blockchain-based decentralized search engine. This platform was designed to solve the problem of traditional search engines.BitClaveis a secure and transparent approach to online searching compared to traditional search engines.

The creation of BitClave was basically suggested by a growing concern over privacy and data control in the digital world. Traditional search engines like Google and Bing, operate on a centralized model. Being a centralized system, the main problem here is that they collect and store information.

And the worst part is that they are monetized. All of a sudden, search data is being shared with big companies so that relevant ads can reach users. This model has raised significant privacy concerns. Here in this system, users have little control over how their data is used & shared. The centralized nature of these search engines makes them vulnerable to data leaks and unauthorized access as well.

Alex Bessonov is the founder and CEO of BitClave. It recognized these issues and sought to create a solution that would empower users by giving them control over their data. By utilizing blockchain technology, BitClave aimed to decentralize the search process. User data remained private and secured. It is an extra opportunity for users to earn rewards for their data usage as well.

I hope to be able to share the rest of the issues with you in the next posts through continuous discussion. I try to present any topic in a simple way for newbies so that they can easily understand the intricacies of blockchain and decentralization. I will discuss the content of decentralized search engines in the next post.
