TRON Reaches New Heights :: The Number Of Accounts Exceeded 165 Million

Tron's native cryptocurrency, TRX is now available on the Ethereum (ETH) platform using the BitTorrent (BTT) bridge. This integration allows TRX to connect to the vast decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem, considered the largest in the industry.

Justin Sun, the founder of the Tron Network, tweeted that TRX has reached "full availability in the Ethereum ecosystem" and also revealed the address of the token's contract. The BitTorrent bridge provides a convenient and efficient solution for transferring assets between an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible blockchain and the Tron network. The bridge facilitates the smooth and rapid movement of assets between these platforms.

The move will increase the liquidity of TRX and make it easier to use within the DeFi protocol. Ethereum represents the DeFi ecosystem: According to DeFiliam, the total value of assets stored in more than 800 protocols exceeds $80 billion.

Tron, meanwhile, ranks second in terms of Total Locked Asset Value (TVL) on the blockchain network, with $5.61 billion locked in 22 protocols.

TRON Blockchain Hits New Highs

The official Twitter account of the TRON blockchain network, known as TRON DAO, presented an overview of the protocol’s achievements from May 29 to June 4. According to data provided by the blockchain network, 51.66 million blockchain signs have been traversed, bringing the total number of nodes in the network to 7343.

TRON also revealed that the total number of accounts on the TRON network has reached 163,534,456, with 1,510,259 accounts added last week. In addition, the total number of transactions on the TRON network has reached 5.72 billion, with 62.39 million new transactions registered this week.
