TRX is consumed if the user does not have enough bandwidth and energy points. The amount of TRX spent per transaction is calculated based on the number of missing bandwidth and energy points:

• 1 point of bandwidth costs 0.001 TRX
• 1 energy costs 0.00042 TRX

Commissions are calculated depending on the number of bytes in the transaction. Transactions with TRC-10 tokens use 1 BP per byte; transactions with TRC-20 tokens are more complex and fees depend on the smart contact.

How to get bandwidth points

There is a fixed amount of BP in the network, which is shared among all users - the total amount of BP per day is 43,200,000,000,000.

To get more than 1500 free BP per day, you need to stake TRX. Cryptocurrency cannot be used, but BP or energy will be credited as a reward. Rewards must be selected when the balance is frozen.

When free and stock rewards run out, they slowly replenish over 24 hours.

How to earn energy

The reward mechanism in Energy is almost identical to BP. The network has a total fixed amount of Energy shared by all users; the total amount of Energy per day is 90,000,000.

TRX is frozen for at least three days. After 72 hours, the cryptocurrency can be withdrawn or stored to continue receiving Energy or additional BP.

By receiving Bandwidth Points and Energy, you do not need to pay any transaction fees, including sending USDT (TRC-20).

Most importantly, it's important to keep an eye on Bandwidth Points and Energy balances. In the event of a shortage, TRX will be burned to pay the fee.
