Legitimacy with Airdrops
Now since the market is in better state so we can see a lot of Airdrops going on. Airdrop is a way to earn free money and it's really good but we need to understand that not everything is legit. Many projects are fake and they're just here to scam people and also there are some having no plan to grow the project.
It's important to choose the ones which are reliable. There are two types of Airdrops. First is paid airdrop where we need to perform some tasks and it costs some transaction fee. The other type is completely free and tasks does not put any transaction cost hence this is a good option to go for. There have been so many projects in Crypto market that have given great airdrop value but it's hard to predict in advance. May be in some cases this can be confirmed considering the community and many other aspects about the project.
My airdrop strategy
I do participate in airdrop but I prefer to do some selected ones. The reason why I am selective because there have been so many fake air drop and its waste of time. Sometimes you to air drops also ask for information it is not relevant and they use it to hack users. It is obvious that no project can do such activities if the project is legit and it is build on some valuable foundation.
Some steps to consider -
- I generally avoid to participate in the project where transaction cost is higher because AirDrop comes at some cost then I try you don't know what value of coins we are going to get so better to avoid. This is not a rule because some projects can be a good pic depending up on there community adoption and over all project road map..
- Try not to share any sensitive information and also never use the main wallet to interact with any project on a safer side.
- We should not be running behind every year drop project instead it's good to do some studies and participate only if you feel comfortable because participation take time and it doesn't make sense to spend time on something does not bring anybody back but I do understand that it may be difficult to identify.

Although we get free money through airdrops but not all airdrops are valid. It's true. So awareness about this is necessary. Thanks for writing about a nice topic.
Joining airdrop is also a matter of patience because 70%/80% of airdrops are fake scams, so if you work with patience you can get huge success.
