Airdrops are good but be careful!
In the Crypto space, people would like to have more airdrops because it is a kind of free money that everyone is interested in having. The reality is that there are so many fake airdrops going on that have got no value and the intent behind this campaign is just to get the data and also to get access to your wallets. I'm not saying that there are no genuine air drops but we need to do some due diligence before sharing any information. The ratio between genuine and fake airdrop is quite big and I mean to say that it's not even 10% as far as I'm aware.
Some of the air drops ask you to connect your wallets like meta mask and that is very risky because you don't know what this project is about and how reliable. Some people create malicious websites and they just want to connect with your meta mask wallet so that they can take your funds away from the wallet. I don't run behind airdrops because I just don't want to risk my funds and it is because I had a bad experience in the past. In the last bull run cycle, I was running behind airdrops and connected my wallet to one of the malicious websites and I lost some Ethereum that I had in my wallet.
I know it was my mistake and I shouldn't have connected my wallet but I did it and it is a learning lesson that I have learned now. I am okay not to get airdrop but I'm not okay to lose my money just because somebody has created a trap and I'm not ready to connect my wallet to any protocol that I don't trust. It's my money and it is my responsibility to protect it so I say that airdrops are good but we need to be careful before participating specifically, if something is asking for your credentials or wallet access then you must think twice before doing this.

Hmmm I agree with you too, lately many scammers have lured Wallet Connect with tempting offers, everyone is losing their valuable wallets.
Airdrop is very important for everyone but we have to click here thoughtfully. Many phishing links are given here but we can get lost everywhere through one link so we have to link up everything carefully.
