Binance is currently a leading local and popular crypto exchange. Digital currencies are gaining popularity with time and more people are getting into it. Also, people are constantly trading these digital currencies in various exchanges. It includes not only men but also many women. Today, the popular exchange Binance has launched a new campaign to get more women involved in crypto exchanges. The crypto market has historically been disproportionately populated by men. A study in this regard was conducted in 2021. Whereas this study shows that more than twice as many men as women are involved in digital currency markets. And the survey was conducted by CNBC and fintech firm.
Leading crypto exchange Binance has recently launched a new campaign to be more inclusive of women. Basically they're going to change that dynamic with a new, women-oriented campaign. Here's a lovely scent in a chic glass bottle – sure to entice more women into crypto trading right?
Today is International Women's Day. So the popular exchange wanted to step up their campaign to attract women to the crypto industry ahead of Women's Day and to include more women in their exchanges or digital currency markets. And to that end the company has released a limited edition perfume. Which is called 'Crypto'. This is an exceptional initiative and a step towards greater inclusion of women. The new scent "mixes money with fragrance," said the popular exchange authority. They issued a press release to that effect. They also said that their new venture comes in a sleek bottle. The likes of which one would expect from a designer brand. Whatever. Such a move by Hok Binance is already garnering backlash from some people on social media, with many discussing it and criticizing it.
However, it has been heavily debated and criticized, with many complaining that the Binance campaign was a major marketing misstep. Others assume that the only thing that can interest a woman is money and crypto. Things that can get more women into finance and crypto can be a stereotypical product. But such discussions may be critical but we should keep in mind that women are recognized as strong, successful, smart and capable nowadays. And the currently popular exchange Binance missed the opportunity to highlight these important aspects of a woman's worth. But the inclusion of more women is not a bad thing. Hopefully it will include many women.
