Voxels NFT Collection : Voxels, formerly known as Cryptovoxels, is a virtual reality platform in the Metaverse that allows users to create, interact and transact in a game-like environment. Users can buy virtual land parcels, build structures and create digital assets on their parcels. The platform also offers a gaming area where users can create their own cosmetics and decorations and insert them into the game.
Voxels use Ethereum tokens for transactions and record land ownership on the Ethereum blockchain. The platform is accessible through major web browsers and is compatible with virtual reality headsets such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Oculus Quest. The project was commissioned by Nolan Consulting in April 2018.
Now I will try to tell some history of Voxels NFT collection: Nolan Consulting, founder of the Voxel project, was inspired by the previous works of A-FrameVR and SceneVR. Ben Nolan, an independent game developer based in New Zealand, played a role in the development of Voxel. After rebranding CryptoVoxel to Voxel in May 2022.
Nolan celebrated the event with a Metaverse party during VoxCon, where he participated in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session. Voxels launched on April 1, 2018 The project was initially released in 2018 with a secret beta key, first selling land to the creator's friends and advisors.
