The NFTs were released in two phases, each with distinct characteristics and objectives. The first phase was an allowlist event for early Rug Radio Genesis NFT holders, who could mint a limited number of NFTs at a discounted price. DAO token holders, creators, and team members also received tokens at a rate of 1 token per individual. The first phase concluded with a total of 14,665 tokens claimed.
