Dust Labs, an NFT software startup affiliated with DeGods and y00ts, raised $7 million in September 2022 to build the $DUST ecosystem, a utility token for the DeGods collection and the larger DeLabs ecosystem. DeLabs is also responsible for collecting y00ts NFTs. Under Frank's leadership, Digods expanded beyond the Solana ecosystem.
Kevin Henriksson serves as the CEO of DLabs. He was previously VP of Engineering at Instacart. The initial DeGods NFT collection was initially launched on the Solana blockchain in October 2021 and was revealed to a select list of potential investors. The NFTs in the collection were designed as modern, punk-style incarnations of the mythical god and were categorized into five rarity levels: common, uncommon, rare, ultra rare, and mysterious.
