The game involves trapping sheep NFTs in barns to generate $WOOL and wealth, using wolves to hunt and loot resources, and participating in communities where landowners vote on tax rates and governance using $WOOL.
Now let's try to give some history of the Wolf Game NFT collection:The founder or team behind Wolf Game is not publicly known, and the project operates under a pseudonymous persona called 'The Shepherd' who handles official communications about the game. The current version of the starting wolf game launched in December 2022, with several iterations and spinoff mini-games following. The Genesis Collection released on November 18, 2021 contains 10,000 NFTs of wolves and sheep worth 0.06942 ETH each.
However, the developers had to stop staking due to a bug they found in their code, which allowed players to claim additional $WOOL and disrupted game mechanics. The developers publicly disclosed the bug, launched a bug bounty system, and announced plans for third-party audits. They had to recreate the entire game and issue new tokens. Wolf Game migrated to a new smart contract on November 27, 2021.
