The company was founded by Canadian software developers John Watkinson and Matt Hall. Prior to Autoglyph, Larva Labs created the Cryptopunks NFT collection. These are considered the first on-chain generative art NFTs. This means that the artwork is stored directly on the Ethereum blockchain, making it tamper-proof and decentralized.
