The project was developed by West Coast NFT as consultant to SHILR. The character has been used in various campaigns for global brands such as Adidas, Louis Vuitton, Vogue and The New York Times.

Now let me give you some history of the DourDarcels NFT collection: The DourDarcels NFT project was founded by Craig Redman, a New York-based artist who works with the design collective Rinzen and as one half of the art and design duo Craig and Carl. known for Development of the connected blockchain fashion game, Dur Fits, was led by former Apple engineer Adam Johnson, who oversaw the game's design in collaboration with Redman.

The initial DourDarcels NFT collection was launched on August 24, 2022 at 7 p.m. The main inspiration for the EST collection comes from everyday New Yorkers, featuring statement styles and accessories. The launch of the collection was followed by the introduction of Dur Fits blockchain fashion game, which was revealed at New York Fashion Week in September 2022.
