The company was founded by Canadian software developers John Watkinson and Matt Hall. Prior to Autoglyphs, Larva Labs created the CryptoPunks NFT collection. They are considered to be among the first on-chain generative art NFTs. This means that the artwork is stored directly on the Ethereum blockchain, making it tamper-proof and decentralized.
