In 2008, the concept of virtual currency was first introduced to the whole world. Many people think that cryptocurrency was created by a software scientist or some group. And this currency is known as cryptocurrency to everyone. Many people think that a person or special team named Satoshi Nakamoto invented Bitcoin for the first time. In the history of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency whose commercial transactions started in 2010, although many virtual coins have been invented since then, no coin has been able to surpass Bitcoin.

By using an open source cryptographic protocol, all transactions are done through Bitcoin in a peer-to-peer manner, which does not require any type of financial institution or regulatory body to conduct transactions. All these currencies can be easily exchanged while protecting their privacy, all transaction information is in the blockchain network. Bitcoins can be bought and sold and accepted in conventional currency. Due to all these reasons the use of Bitcoin is increasing day by day. Bitcoin is legally recognized in many countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Major countries like France, Spain and Japan have legalized Bitcoin transactions by their country governments but so far Bitcoin is illegal in Bangladesh, Egypt, Morocco and many other countries. Bangladesh Government Bank published an information about Bitcoin in December 2017, where it is said that there is no legal recognition of virtual currency in the country but what is the reason for this ban? The main reason for this is said to be the very unstable market price of Bitcoin, which increases the risk in the market many times. I think these reasons are not logical, there are many freelancers in Bangladesh. Those whose payment comes through cryptocurrency but because of cryptocurrency ban they have to suffer a lot. As a result, at the end of the day Bangladesh is not getting any foreign currency. In my opinion, Bangladesh should make cryptocurrency legal, so that new jobs are created in the country.
