Technology is there in your life from the moment you get up to the moment you go to sleep. Our increasingly digitised lives and the advancement of our electronic environment have become the new normal.

We are fortunate to live in a period where science and technology can help us, make our lives easier, and force us to reconsider how we go about our daily lives. The technology we're already familiar with has prepared the road for us to develop even more. But how will if affect our future?

Here's the list of technologies that will change our future

Virtual Reality

Many of us associate Virtual Reality (VR) with science fiction films like Ready Player One. However, the truth is that technology nowadays is totally integrated into our daily life. Virtual Reality is here to stay in video games, medical, and education.

But over the next few years, in VR, as in all fields of technology, we’re going to see things that make what is cutting-edge today look like Space Invaders. And, while the games themselves will be incredible, the ramifications of this revolution will be far reaching, affecting our employment, education, and social lives. We can already see the new Metaverse by Facebook as a future of VR.

Social Rating System

This is the most unique technology, which literally change the whole perspective of world. We all are familiar with rating, like giving ratings in apps or giving stars, but in Social rating system each person has its own rating and he can rate other persons as well.

The higher rating you have, the more benefits you get and will be respected by others. Even China has already started this system. Imagine if this would get common? I would recommend you to watch Black Mirror’s episode, Nosedive to experience this system.

Nanotech

Nanotechnology is an area of study and development that focuses on creating 'things' on the scale of atoms and molecules, such as materials and gadgets.

In the future, nanotechnology could also enable objects to harvest energy from their environment. New nano-materials and concepts are now being developed that have the ability to produce energy with high conversion efficiency from movement, light, temperature fluctuations, glucose, and other sources.

Blockchain

Because blockchain is still a new technology, opinions on its potential are diverse. By 2022, at least one creative blockchain-based business will be valued $10 billion. By 2026, the value of blockchain to businesses will have risen to just over $360 billion, and by 2030, it will have risen to more than $3.1 trillion.
