SEC | S16-W1: Our Friend The Egg: Omelette with Troll
Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to invite you to the challenge running by Steemit Iron Chef Community:
Troll and his precious eggs |
---|
Once I read the name of the challenge I immediately thought that this is something for me, because like Steemit Iron Community eggs are also my best friend when I am cooking. There are many different dishes that require eggs and also they give a special taste and nutrients to any dish.
Eggs contain the most important proteins that our body does not produce and we can not recreate they are called irreplaceable protein we can get them only with food and eggs have majority of them. That is why when someone on diet then it is important to have eggs in your diet.
Now back to our challenge, today I have a day off when I am off we then have a good walk and after that we have breakfast and this time we were thinking about hot breakfast with eggs. There are many different way how to prepare the eggs, today I decided to do Omelette and here is my process of preparation.
Cooking with Troll |
---|
First of all, when we buy any products, we try to support the local farmers and buy the products that are produced locally. You might probably noticed that to make my post interesting I have created a story with a little helper Troll the character was created by my hubby and we integrated him in our photography. You know that we love Visual Art and that is why we always combine writing and photography and Art.
Here is the egg shell that usually has names of the supporters of local manufacturers
When our friend Troll found that we are going to use the last two eggs he was extremely happy, because he thought that eggs might get old and become bad and not eatable. He does not like when the food is thrown away, because he like to save and also is possible to use everything that he has.
Once the eggs were out of the box, Troll already prepared a wooden stick and started fire. (By the way, I hope you noticed that our eggs also have a label "WOX Steem")
But we immediately put fire out
Normally we make omelette with some onion for two eggs only a half of onion, some salt and black pepper, the Troll was excited.
The next step is a little flat pan and a bit of oil nicely spread and when it is hot enough then to add onion and fry for a minute, just so that you have nice smell of onions. At this stage Troll decided to stay away because it was much more fire and became to hot for him. He did his job and made us to use the last eggs, now he did not need to stay longer here and was able to go away until our next shopping of new eggs he is on holiday :)
Two eggs were added to fried onion, a bit of salt and black pepper and then to mix everything.
Once everything is mixed, I usually cover the pan with a lid and set it to low heat.
I turn over it once and fry a bit the other side but within couple of minutes everything is ready and looks like that, ready to serve.
We really enjoyed our Omelette, I hope you too :)
I would like to invite @davidad, @liusir, @bambuka for this challenge
Your post adventure with Troll and the eggs is not only a delightful read but also a feast for the eyes! The incorporation of Troll into the cooking process adds a whimsical touch making it a unique and entertaining experience. Your commitment to supporting local farmers is commendable and the visual elements including the eggshell with names of supporters enhance the storytelling. The omelette looks scrumptious and your storytelling approach makes the cooking process even more engaging. A perfect blend of art photography and the joy of cooking..best wishes for you...
Thank you for reading my post and I am glad you also like my idea of a cooking and fairy telling. I actually love telling stories I remember I did a lot when my son was very young. The whole preparation was enjoyable and the result was delicious. Thank you for nice comment :)
Un cuento acompañado con una deliciosa tortilla no esta nada mal para iniciar un buen desayuno acompañado de una deliciosa taza de café.
Saludos éxitos y bendiciones.
Yes, that is very good to have such breakfast, but also there should be enough time just to enjoy delicious food :)
What a simple and unique way to fry egg!
I truly like the idea behind this recipe, it seems like magic after which I got to the last stage of the preparation process. Viewing the photos, the omelette looks enjoyable and I hope it was delicious and tasty as seen?
I wish you success in the contest!
Yes, it was our Sunday tradition always omelette for breakfast that time our son was little, now we do not do so often but still it is delicious :)
That’s great to know!
I would like to try this pattern someday.
Hi @yancar, thank you for reading my post and yes, there are differences in food that is produced locally on open free range or if it is in a big farm but also some food is brought from neighbour countries. I am glad to know that there are only natural and fresh products in your place :)
Egg omelette is one of the popular breakfast here :)

Thank you @edgargonzalez for supporting my post and for triggering SC06 :)
Yes, you are right it is already possible to get breakfast eggs in fast food restaurants but I like them only home made, it is the easiest food to prepare. But there are always people who will take easy way. Thank you for reading and I am pleased you like it.

Thank you for reading my post and I am glad that you found it entertaining, I thought this way a simple cooking will turn in funny story telling. I am pretty sure you have many interesting recipes what can be prepared using eggs as a whole or separated like white from yellow inner part of it.
