Greetings Steemit Chefs!
It's a pleasure to be here and a privilege to share food recipe with every chef here on steemit platform. Today, I have a special/ healthy recipe to share which is the recipe of Vegetable soup. This soup is one of the fastest to prepare and of course with it content ( ingredients) you will have no doubt about its health benefits.

Vegetable soup doesn't consume much time during the preparation processes. I have prepared this soup many times but I noticed changes in this particular recipe which is why I decided to share.

Let's proceed to the main deal of the day; I will list the ingredients used and explain each step carried out while preparing this delicious delicacy.

Ingredients Used

  • Vegetable leaf
  • Water leaf
  • Goat meat
  • Dried fish
  • Periwinkle
  • Onions
  • Fresh pepper
  • Maggi
  • Salt
  • Crayfish
Preparation Procedures

After washing and slicing the both leaves ( vegetable and water leaves) separately, remove harmful bones from the fish, wash periwinkle and blend fresh pepper, the main cooking process can start;

Step 1: Wash, season and steam meat with pepper, onion, salt and maggi. After few minutes, add dried fish to it.

Step 2: Add periwinkle and allow it boil for just 2 minutes before pouring water leaf into the pot then cover to cook for 3 minutes.

Step 3: After that 3 minutes, add palm oil (red oil), boil for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Here's the last step; add freshly sliced vegetable leaf to the pot, stir and add blended crayfish.

Once it boils for just 1 minute, turn off the gas. I don't like it when my vegetable is over cooked. In less than 30 minutes, this soup was ready. Below is the outcome;

Vegetable soup is not just a regular soup consume for pleasure only, it has various health benefits attached to it. For example; the high content of fiber in this leaf helps to hinder constipation and it is good for digestion. This soup is rich in nutrient, good for hydration, weight management, heart health and boost the immune system by assisting the body get rid of infection. Other benefits are also attached to consuming this soup.

This is a clear tutorial of one of my best soup!

It's nutritious and easy to cook.

Maybe, as a suggestion...you could add the prices of the ingredients both in naira and Steem. That way, users within who wishes to plan a budget can have an idea of what they might likely spend.

However, I know that prices differs in different locations, but an idea of such would still be a good factor.

It's a shame, you don't have enough audience to appreciate this tutorial in terms of engagement.

It’s indeed a shame but I can’t blame any user for not engaging. The solution is to increase my engagement, maybe others might likely reciprocate.
