Season greetings and welcome to my entry for this week's engagement from this wonderful community where we get to share our ideas on what we prefer between having a job or a business. If you are reading this, please do well to leave your thoughts in the comments.
How do you manage your monthly budget in a job or Business? |

Be it in a Job or Business, managing our monthly budget is important because if we can effectively do that, then we can attain financial freedom. Controlling how we spend or use our finances properly makes us responsible humans and at the same time gives us control over our finances.
Therefore how do I manage or how can we manage our monthly budget effectively? To that, we will have to;
Keeping Records of Our Income and Expenses:
Keeping records of the money we earn and the money we spend will help us know where and where we are spending our money and give us an idea of areas where we can make amends.
Setting our Financial Goals:
This means having an idea of what we want to achieve finance-wise. It could be saving to buy something good in life, paying a debt, or even investing in a business. Having a clear idea of what we want to do and at what time we will do it can guide us to make good financial goals.
Creating our Budget:
Making plans on how to allocate our income is another great way of using our monthly budget effectively. To do this, we need to make a list of our income in the month on one side, and on the other side, list out all our expenses like rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, miscellaneous, and not forgetting savings then assign specific amounts or percentage of your income to them based on how much we need them and our financial goals.

Prioritizing our Expenses:
We will need to differentiate between what we need and want, using a scale of preference method to cut out the not-so-necessary expenses while covering our vital expenses like rent, bills, and groceries first.
Reviewing to Adjust:
This involves us reviewing our budget regularly to see if it's working for us as we need to adapt to our budget accordingly. Meaning we can make adjustments if needed to ensure that our budget remains practical and aligned with our goals.

Both Skills and Education are important for getting a handsome Job or running a successful Business. They both contribute to us in both cases in different ways. Lemme explain to you how.
Education:
Going to school and getting a degree or certification in a specific field can help us learn important things and show our employers that we are knowledgeable.
Skills:
Along with education, these days, we must have practical skills that are relevant to different jobs or even to the job we want, this includes skills like being good with computers, being a good communicator, and being able to solve problems as these skills go hand-in-hand with education to carry out our duties effectively.
Education:
To be educated in business involves getting to know a lot about the industry we are in, knowing what our customers want from us, and keeping up with what other businesses are doing, to which, knowledge is needed and we get that from education or experience.
Skills:
To run a business, we need different skill sets to make us good at making decisions, solving different problems, managing our money, and getting people interested in what we are offering or selling.

Who said becoming a boss and being a successful businessman can not go hand in hand?
Being a boss means that we must have the ability and responsibility to manage a team or a business, but then, for anyone to be a successful businessman, the person has to run a business that is doing well and making positive impacts around his environment.
Therefore, we can say that a successful businessman is a boss on his own, over his business, which involves him making important decisions, managing his team, and working hard to make his business grow. Therefore, I can say a businessman can be a boss and a boss can also be a successful businessman.

I've seen small businesses grow up to be corporate businesses and limited companies from scratch. A good example is the story of Mr Humble, who started his business as a provision store seller with just Stalk, today owns the biggest Supermarket here in Akenfa, coupled with several branches scattered around the entire Yenegoa city.
This is the story of someone who started as a small provision seller in a stalk but with determination has grown a business empire for himself.

It is very important to adjust the budget with our income and prioritize the products that are in peak demand, to avoid unnecessary expenses. Your budget strategy is great. I have noticed that with education one can acquire skills quickly if one works hard. So it can be said that education and skills are the keys to quick success. No matter how small we start, we can grow quickly if our goals are right. As in your success story.

Keeping recording of all income and expenditure will help one to know how much he or she has spent, and how much is left to be spend. This is the reason why companies hire accountant to handle such taxes because of how important it is.
Both skill and education play a vital role in landing someone to his or her dream job or business. I prefer having both than just one.
