As I remember, in the last 20-30 years, very important changes have been seen in the expansion of communication media, in this the increasing role of internet cannot be denied. But among these communication media, a communication system called social media has given a direction to our future, whose advantages and disadvantages both are visible.

What are the benefits of social media for our society?

The increasing spread of social media has brought the whole world to one place, now instead of going to many devices separately, we have the facility to operate all the social media platforms on our mobile itself. Through this, we can see the latest news, new events, new scientific inventions, dramas, movies, or any new topic on social media.

Through this, we can establish our relations with people all over the world, we can talk to them, we can establish business relations with them. We can meet them face to face by video calling. Through this, we can meet our relatives living abroad and far away from our cities face to face. It has become very cheap and profitable. Many people are earning money and also getting fame by creating their content, reels, videos etc. through social media.

What are the evils caused by social media in our society?

The biggest evil of this is that now we all are becoming addicted to this social media, children, young, old, all are getting trapped in the web of these social media, now from waking up in the morning till sleeping at night, all the members of the family are trapped in the web of social media on their mobile phones or other devices.

In the process of watching and making its contents, reels, we are all getting away from the social world. Due to social media, the education of children and their minds are being affected a lot. Many people are losing their lives in the process of making different types of reels on social media, children are also served a lot of adult content to watch.

Due to which they are maturing prematurely and sometimes spoiling their lives by imitating the heroes and heroines of reels. Parents are also not able to keep full control over their children by getting caught in the web of social media.

Is social media really useful for common people or corporate companies?

Yes, through social media, corporate companies are able to promote their products, contact their employees, and through this they are able to know about new inventions, technology of the country and abroad, and are also able to create new skills in their companies. The corporate sector is making the best use of social media.

Give your personal opinion and conclusion about social media.

In my opinion, if we are using social media for our mental and economic development, then there is no other option, but getting addicted to it, and wasting our time by getting trapped in its web is ruining our future.

But today we have become so addicted to it that now we need to pay more attention to its alternatives. Many women and children in the house cannot even imagine living without social media. I have seen that now if parents try to separate their children from it, they behave aggressively or strongly oppose it.

To tell our children the harm caused by its excessive use, we ourselves will first have to separate ourselves from it.
