Contest: My First Stage Experience
A tall student was meant to portray the villain in a play that was going to be performed that year. Nonetheless, he had to leave the city once due to a difficulty at his residence. The issue now was determining who would play that part. A buddy of mine proposed my name for the part of the play's villain.
When the play's director contacted, he quickly chose me for that relay after noticing my height and build. But it was going to be quite challenging for me because I had never performed in plays or anything like that. But the director reassured me, "Don't worry, we'll teach you," and gave me encouragement.
So we all practised our parts regularly, and on the day the play was to be performed, I was really anxious even though my role was done a lot and I only had the opportunity to portray the play's major character for about 5 or 6 minutes. both of us had to battle for a while. Also, some of its conversations had to be delivered.
The performance had begun, and though I hadn't yet had my turn, I was already perspiring, feeling my heartbeat, and keeping my mouth shut. The stage manager approached me and told me to go since it was time for my entrance. Before I entered, the curtains were drop, and after I left, they will drop once again. During this period, the hero and I would argue for around five to six minutes. So I bravely proceeded to the stage, where the stage's curtains were being raised as the hero stood in front of me.
O wicked guy, return my money back to me, the hero cried.
I laughed very laud Hee-hee-hee, and said I won't be returning your money; do what you like.
I will murder you, you rascal, you constantly hurt the people, and now you will not be able to escape my hands, the hero declared one again.
I told the play's protagonist once again that he had misunderstood; it appears that you will perish at my hands.
Then we both pulled our swords out and pretended to be in a battle.
And to the sound of loud music, we continued to fight for a while.
The audience members in the theatre enjoyed seeing our battle sequences and discussion.
The music stopped, the lights went low, and the director yelled cut to indicate the scene was over. We both let out sighs of relief as we relaxed, and I in particular whispered to my hero, "Oh my dear buddy, give me a cigrat we both fought too hard." Only then did all of the lights on the stage turn on once more, revealing that the curtain had still not even closed.
The audience witnessed the protagonist and antagonist engaging in amicable conversation and sharing a smoke. At this point, hysterical laughing could be heard across the whole theatre.
My first time performing live was thus a lot of fun. We all enjoyed a lot.
Thanks for reading.

Hmm, I guess the audience had a better scene of what they saw in the act! Nice story!
