How would your daily life and work life be without electricity from now onwards?

What kind of equipment would be required to live a hassle-free life?

Hello, I am really so glad to be participating in this week's engagement challenge and I must say the topic which you have presented is of very high standard and quality because it has to do with how most people in developing countries experience daily.

How would your daily life and work life be without electricity from now onwards?

At times we do experience electricity blackout which lasts 4 days, sometimes it's as a result of the fact that transformers do get burnt Because of overload or natural activities like rainfall and thunderstorms. They saddest thing about this, is that at times it takes a very long period of time to replace the transformers so therefore living the individuals and total darkness for a long period of time

This electricity blackout usually affects my day-to-day activities, especially my work activities This is because most of my working activities need stable electricity power. Basically the too busy jobs I do are web development related activities and steemit related activities. They both really need enough time with my phone and laptop, as we all know these applications can't not run without electricity.

This electric blackout is usually frustrating especially when you have a job to do either your phone or your laptop and both devices are already running on low battery or already switched off. It's really frustrating because I hate it when I can't achieve my goal and desires at the desired time.

What kind of equipment would be required to live a hassle-free life?

Actually the best way to live a hassle-free life that is not affected by the instability that comes with electric current is migrating fully into the solar current ecosystem where everything would be powered by solar energy with the help of solar panels.

Migrating to a solar driven lifestyle would give you more control over the stability of the current you use to run and power your electrical and electronic appliances you use to run day-to-day activities like changing phone and laptops, lighting bulbs etc

The major disadvantages of solar based energy is that they are very expensive to buy,install, and maintain for a common man with average and low salary. So the only alternative is purchasing a power bank that would be helpful in powering up your phones and touches. Although they can't do other things electrical and solar panels can do because of the limited power capacity but it would go a long way to make sure your phone is always charged.

Although generators can serve as an alternative but this generators are powered by fuels or diesel and unfortunately fuels and diesel are very expensive and scarce making it not sustainable for a long period of time. In summary migrating to the solar energy ecosystem would be the best way to live a hassle-free life in my country.

Would you be able to cope with life without electricity?

No, I won't be able to cope without electricity, that's If I don't have another alternative. This is because I learn a lot, practice and earn because of the electricity power of my devices. So therefore if my device doesn't have power, it would affect my daily education, jobs and web development skills because as a web developer you need to study harder daily.

Also it sometimes gets really hot in my locality so therefore if there's electricity, we will end up sleeping in uncomfortable hot weather but if there's electricity light the air conditioners and electrical fan would help stimulate the weather.

Also on the compound we use electricity to pump our borehole, so whenever there's Blackout we face difficulties fetching water which is very frustrating because water is a very important element that helps us run our daily activities.
