I will first discuss how to prevent soil pollution and conserve soil. Before conserving soil, we should focus on how soil pollution occurs. Generally three types of soil are contaminated.
If the fertility of the soil is lost due to various reasons then the soil becomes polluted.
If the soil is degraded due to various natural or man-made reasons then the field becomes contaminated.
If the soil is destroyed due to various reasons, the field is also contaminated.
In other words, if soil is to be conserved, soil fertility should be prevented. Soil erosion and destruction should also be prevented. It will be possible to save the soil only by giving importance to these three things.
Soil conservation : Soil fertility is lost when the soil lacks essential nutrients. When the same crop is grown on the same soil year after year, the fertility of the soil is lost.
Then the soil is eroded due to heavy rains, stormy winds, river currents, etc. Again, when various forests are cut down to build factories and brick kilns, the soil is destroyed.
Soil conservation is not possible if soil cannot be protected from loss of soil fertility, prevention of erosion, and degradation.

Methods I can adopt to conserve soil.
Soil Erosion Prevention: Soils that break due to various reasons. Such as currents, river breaks, stormy winds, heavy rains etc. The first measure that can be taken to prevent this soil erosion is to plant more trees. Planting trees increases soil fertility besides preventing soil erosion. These plants protect the soil from various erosions.
Planting grasses increases the water holding capacity of the soil. which helps to fertilize the soil.
Planting trees on slopes: As a result, the roots of the trees hold the soil firmly. As a result, soil erosion is prevented.
Prevention of tree cutting: Apart from planting trees, care should be taken to ensure that no one can cut trees unnecessarily. As a result of felling of trees, the fertility of the soil in that area is lost and the soil starts to erode.
Usage of organic fertilizer: In addition to preventing tree felling, use of organic fertilizers should be reduced. Chemical fertilizers reduce soil fertility. So more organic fertilizers should be applied to the soil to protect the soil.
We can take necessary steps to prevent river erosion by conserving soil. As a result of the erosion of the river, every year it is seen that the arable land is breaking and going under the water.
As a result, our agricultural land is decreasing day by day. Therefore, if different types of trees can be planted on the banks of the river, then the river will be prevented.
Apart from planting trees, other methods can be adopted to prevent river erosion. River banks can be embanked. Even with all these exceptions, it will be possible to save the river bank soil.
Conclusion: If we do not allow soil fertility to be destroyed by the above actions. Soil conservation is possible if soil can be prevented from being eroded and destroyed.
In this case it is possible to conserve soil through measures such as planting trees, prevention of tree cutting, use of organic fertilizers, and exclusion of river banks.

We should use organic fertilizers such as biomass to increase the fertility of soil it is time consuming process but it is for long time.

Yes, I think we should all save soil from our respective places. Soil degradation occurs naturally. But artificially and day by day soil fertility is getting lost. A lot of trees are being killed. It is a threat to our future happiness.

Thank you so much mis for coming ....! Experts believe that if this continues. Within the next 40 years, all of the world's arable land will be lost. So we all should be aware to have time. Because we are all related to the soil in one way or another. and dependent on agriculture.

I should repeat that we all know how to save the environment and soil but when it comes to the rat race the man is running we forget everything else but go for industrialization and that spoils our motto. Nice suggestions.

You highlighted the point we should plant trees on the slopes, because in slope the soil erosion happens in a more faster way than the plain land.
There is no alternative to planting trees on river slopes to prevent river erosion. The roots of the trees hold the soil along the river. Thanks for your valuable comments.
