Hello amazing steemians in the hindwhale community how are you today I hope all is well, in my post today I will be sharing with you all my power up of 75 steem as an aim of becoming a dolphin 🐬 someday.

In my to this entry I will be sharing with you all the step by step procedure which I'd used in powering up my steem tokens so please do well to read it through and enjoy.

STEP 1

In the first step I first of all lock into my steamed wallet with my active keys then as you can see in the above picture I had 75.941 steem in my wallet meanwhile my current steem power was 2600 SP

STEP 2

In the second step in order to perform the power up, in the highlighted steem balance which is green in color I then click on it then a drop down menu appeared.

On the menu or should I say option listed as you can see we have Transfer, Transfer to savings, Power up, Trade & Market. So since my intention was to power up my steem I then immediately click on the power up option.

STEP 3

After clicking on the power up option I was then taken to a new page with the title convert steem to steem power as you can see so in other to save my time I then click on the available balance below the amount section provided to fill in the amount automatically.

After I might have finished clicking the balance option below the amount section and it automatically filled in the available steem tokens in my wallet, in other to initiate the power up I then move further in clicking the power up button as seen in the above screenshot.

In this step after I might have finished clicking the power up button I was then taken to the confirm transfer to vesting page which here I was to confirm the transaction and in other for me to confirm the transaction I then click on the OK button 🔘.

After clicking the OK button in the confirm transfer to vesting page it loaded for a second and I was then taken back to my wallet which you can see above that before I initiated the power up my steem balance was 75.941 steem now it's 0.00 steem same thing with my steem power before power up was 2603.639 SP then after power up it's now 2679.580 SP.

And with that I have successfully powered up 75.941 steem for the purpose of making my long goal which is to become a dolphin 🐬

IMPORTANCE OF POWERING UP

When hearing of the name steem power it is simply an influence tokens which we store in our wallet in other to give us more control over our post payout as well as curators reward which we get for our hard work.

---

Which is to so that the more steem power we have the more out chances of earning more income from our post and articles, also having more steem power increases the support level we give other steemians when we vote on their post.

---

At the same time power up helps in the maintaining of the steem ecosystem thus helping in stabilizing it's price which is entirely for our own benefits as steemians, so you see that it is very important that we steemians continue to do more power up's because it is always in favor of both ourselves, the steemit platform and other steemians.
