Hello everyone,
It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to share and join this wonderful contest organized by @jyoti-thelight here in this community today. The contest talks power up and win.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @dave-hanny, @yakspeace, and @lhorgic to join this contest in this community today and share their participation.

It's Indeed a contest that is developed for the growth of every steemians here due to the power-up activities and that is why today I will also engage in powering up a few steem I just earned from my post recently.

I haven't been too active on the platform but recently I came back and I'm ready to work hard and ensure that I continue to power up my Steem.

The process I used to power up the Steem is what I will be sharing with you all below. For those who don't know how to do that, this post may serve as a guide.

Firstly, go to your wallet and then sign after a proper sign you will sew your wallet in this format below.

Secondly, click the arrow beside the available Steem and then select the power-up options as seen in the image below

Thirdly, enter the amount of Steem you wish to power up in the area marked on this screenshot and then click on power up after that.

Fourthly confirm the transactions you wish to carry by checking the amount of Steem you want to power up and a few other things and clicking on OK as seen in the image below.

You do this because whenever you power up a Steem, it will have to take more than 4 weeks to be powered down completely.

Finally, check your wallet and be sure that the Steem powered up has joined the SP. The image below also shows the same.

Write the importance of performing powerup.

Power up is one of the ways to grow one's account and that is the reason why it is greatly supported by the Steemit team. Everyone who constantly powers up his or her Steem is building his or her account which will not only be beneficiary to him or her but to the entire Steemit community because he will use it to support other users on the platform.

Power-up also gives you a sense of belonging in the platform because you will be often tagged by those who will be needing your support and also by those who need you to read through their publications.

When you power up your Steem, you will be able to earn a curation reward at the end of the day because you're able to support others by voting on their publications. As you all know, at every moment you need SP to perform a lot of operations on the platform and that is why every new user is given at least 10 SP to start writing.

In conclusion, powering up can help you to have a stand-alone account and then support those you have chosen and that will mean earning more money.
