HWC contest #58: Food Diary Game - WEEK -7 by @nsijoro (9/05/2024)

Greetings friends and members of this community, it's a privilege participating here today.

Some weeks ago I bought this freshly baked bread immediately it was supplied to the retailing shop near my house, its aroma alone captivated me and beside I wanted to makes some nice photograph with it for a contest, the thought of adding a creamy butter to mingle and then digesting it with an hollandia yoghurt came into my mind and I had to key in to it, I bought all this and to be frank I enjoyed, if my closet neighbour had saw me, I know he would have more reason to salivate(^_-).

I could remember a song I sang at a tender age, "bread and butter we shall go", (I don't think I could remember the lyrics anymore), truly speaking this bread and butter took me out. This combination is humble especially the slow rhythmic movement the butter follow when spread gently over the bread surface. I love it more when it goes into the heart of the bread, that is you have to split it into two equal half before spreading the butter.

I took you too far, I hope you didn't salivate, Let's diversify, speaking of the benefits. This food combination can serve you as breakfast and this are the nutrient it is going to supply, bread as you know is made of flour and it's an energy giving food, which means it is capable of sustaining you by giving you carbohydrates, it also contain vitamin B2 due to the presence of yeast which was used in baking it, butter is very good for the body, it provides the body with fat and oil but its quality of fat doesn't permit obesity, it can help in checking weight, yoghurt is very nutritional because it is made of milk and other additives, since a high amount of milk is in it, it provides us with proteins, vitamins, calcium etc.
