How I spent MY day

As yesterdays a second saturday holiday and school holiday for my children and my daughter is going abroad soon, we went to a famous sports center called decathlon in the city to buy winter clothes for her according to the country. This sports center is very popular in the city and sells all kinds of sportswares and trekking wares like clothing, sports equipment, tools, shoes etc.

This decathlon center is about 20 kms from our house so we all left in the morning and left around 11 am, we reached in half an hour. There were many cars parked there and we saw that there was a crowd inside, so we parked our car there and went inside, there were big banners and some mannquinn at the front.

There was a football ground in front where some athletes were playing. Then we went inside to make purchases. There, the sports equipment and clothes were organized and stacked separately according to the respective sports.

I inquired about it as I went to buy winter clothes for my daughter like thermal war jacket and socks gloves etc. Then they advised to go to Trucking and Mountaineering section. So we went looking for that section.

Then there was a bicycle section where bicycles and scooters were parked for ash and kids were playing with them and my son took a scooter and started playing and driving around. The bicycles kept there were of various kinds ranging from around Rs 6000 to Rs 1 lakh. Some were gear bicycles and were specially made for races, some bicycles were kept exclusively for mountain riding and some were kept for exercise cycling. It was designed so that a bicycle could be folded and easily carried in the trunk of a car. It was kept there

One way we reached the winter wear section there was a section for men and a section for women and we went to the section for girls and we saw the clothes that fit my daughter's size but the price was a bit high but the quality and brand was right. the quality was very good after looking at everything we took two jackets two sets of thermalwear and woolen socks etc.

My other daughter plays Badminton so we went Badminton that section to get the tee shirt and t-shirts for her to play Badminton and they were also very good and the quality was very good. And she asked for a badminton racket but the price was too high Yonex pad cost around Rs 2500 to Rs 3500. I skipped it because our budget was tight. And I promised that I will buy it next time I come.

One way we got everything and pushed our cart to the billing section. There is an automatic billing system so no one is stationed at the counter. Someone was going to all the counters and guiding them just to teach them. He also guided us and as we picked each item and put it in the basket, the display showed its price and quantity. After we ticked it also it insisted to put next item and after putting all that it showed amount which we paid through google pay.

Then when he came to come out, a security guard checked the items and the bill and transferred it to another cart. We took them to our car. It was a pleasure to spend our shopping yesterday.
