My Steemit goal is to become a whale in the Steemit platform so I can give good support to quality posts across the Steemit platform power-up is the only sure way we can get to the level that we want faster.
Power-up boosts our account faster more than just writing or upvoting on other user posts, with less than 100k SP. My power-up is done every week and for this week's own is what I have shared both the amount of steem that I power up and the steps that I used, in addition to why power-up is very important in the Steemit platform.

The amount of steem that I power up for this week, is 77, first, but didn't capture the screenshot which i will be showing you the steps for Steem that i power up again.
As I said power-up is not a difficult something to do, once you have liquid steem in your wallet, all you have to do is to follow the steps I have shared below.
Step 1:
log in to your Steemit wallet by clicking on the wallet from your profile, which will then take you to the wallet interface.
Step2:
On the wallet page, click on the right-hand side and signed in successfully then click on your STEEM balance and select "Power Up," as shown in the screenshot below.
Step3:
Enter the amount of Steem you want to power up which in my case Is 4 and click on Power Up, as shown in the screenshot. After step 3, click on OK.
Congratulations you have powered up your account.

The importance of performing power-ups is too much to be discussed, but I have shared some of the importance of performing power-ups below.
Power up increases our steem power, which gives us more influence over post-payout.
Power-up brings trust to us, which makes the Steemit team trust us.
Power up helps keep the price of Steem Coin high.
Power up increases our reputation and makes us a trustworthy user on the platform
Power up, give us an upper hand to support quality posts.
