I’m excited to participate in HWC Contest #83: POWER UP & WIN - WEEK 55 organized by @jyoti-thelight. Powering up helps us grow and strengthen our presence on the platform. In this post, I’ll share the steps I followed to power up my Steem and how it helps me progress on Steemit.

Powering up on Steemit is really important because it increases my Steem Power (SP), which allows me to have a stronger influence on the platform. With more SP, my votes carry more weight, and also I can earn higher curation rewards and helps me gain recognition and support from other users.

The more I power up, the more I grow in the community and receive support from curators. This time, I decided to power up half of my available Steem as I am the part of Club5050 .

To start the process, I logged into my Steemit account and went to my wallet. I saw that I had some unclaimed rewards available, so I clicked the "Claim Rewards" button to collect my Steem.Once the rewards were claimed, I checked my balance and saw that I had a total of 164.699 Steem.

Since I’m following the Club5050 rules, I decided to split this amount in half half for powering up and half for withdrawal. This meant I would power up 83 Steem and leave 81.69 Steem for withdrawal.

I clicked on the Steem in my wallet and selected the Power Up option. A new screen came up where I had to enter the amount I wanted to power up. I entered 83 Steem and then clicked the Power Up button.

At this point, half of my Steem was successfully powered up, increasing my Steem Power and allowing me to make more impactful votes and earn more rewards🤗🌼🌸

After the power up was complete, I turned my attention to the remaining 81.69 Steem in my wallet. I clicked on it and selected the Transfer option to withdraw it.

I entered my account details and sent this amount to my Steem exchange account. This way, I completed both the power-up and withdrawal, following the Club5050 guidelines.

Now that my Steem Power has increased, I look forward to contributing more to the Steemit community with stronger votes and receiving more rewards in return. I'll keep performing power ups like this regularly to continue growing on this platform.🤗🌼🌸
