So, hope everyone is holding up great. It's glad to be back here and be a part of this amazing contest by @jyoti-thelight.

From the beginning of our journey here, everyone is talking about the importance of powering up and motivating the newbies to do it. Is there a specific reason for that? Of course it is, that's why the big hype here.

So, what's it? The liquid steems we are earning from articles, delegations, buying, or any other means are converting into the state of power. Or practically we are staking it in the steem ecosystem.

Without further blabbering first I'll do my power up for the week.

The importance of Power Up?

The power-up helps both individuals as well as the community and the ecosystem. When we start our proceedings as newbies, our main goal is to be stabilized and a known person in the community. So, this is the easiest path. By powering up our earnings slowly we are growing our accounts and showing to the community that we are committed and true to the ecosystem, earning a good reputation here.

With a higher steem power we can influence more by voting others'posts, meanwhile increasing the curation rewards. Or else we can delegate to communities to strengthen them. It helps to influence more on witness voting as well.

With the increasing of SP it unlocks certain prominent opportunities here as we are showing our commitment and long-term belief. For being a Steem representative, a community curator, moderator requires a certain amount of power.

On the other hand, we help to stabilize the steem price and the ecosystem even i small amounts as well. So, you see there are many useful things with this for all.
