Hello, great warriors of Splinterlands, I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your day. Today I am again here sharing my new entry for the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge "RULESET: Explosive Weaponry
" which is offered by @splinterlands. You can also participate in this weekly challenge, to know more about how to participate in this challenge visit this link.
ABOUT: Explosive Weaponry:
Explosive Weaponry
is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all monsters gain the Blast ability.
Additional damage is equivalent to main damage divided by 2, rounded up.
Include a unit with Reflection Shield in your lineup to absorb blast damage and protect your back line.

Battle Ruleset:
There were three rulesets in this battle which are
Stampede, Explosive Weaponry, and Blood and Sunder
. The allowed mana cap was 37
and only Life Splinter Summoners were active in this battle.Battle Summoner:
I choose
FRANZ RUFFMANE
as a summoner for this battle, which is a reward edition Rare Life Splinter Summoner. It costs 6
mana and has two abilities(+1 armor and Conscript). I used this summoner because I wanted to use the Gladius edition card in this battle and it was the only summoner I could use the Gladius cards. I have upgraded it to level 5 and under this summoner, I can use monsters of up to level 6 common cards.
1. CHAOS KNIGHT:
In the first position, I used
CHAOS KNIGHT
which is a Chaos Legion edition common melee attack monster from the Life Splinter. I have got it at level 3 from the pack's opening. It costs 6 mana, gives a -3 melee damage, and has one ability Shield
at level 3. I used it in the first place and in this battle because of its shield ability.
2. CORSAIR BOSUN:
In the second position, I used
CORSAIR BOSUN
which is a Rift edition common melee attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 10 mana, does a -4 melee attack, and has 2 abilities Reach and Reflection Shield
at level 1. I used it in the second position because it has a Reflection Sheild ability and the battle ruleset was Blast so I used it in the second position. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works very well for me in battles whenever I use it.
3. DAX PARAGON:
In the third position, I used
DAX PARAGON
which is a Chaos Legion edition an epic magic attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 2 mana, does -1 magic attack, and has no abilities at level 1. I used it in this battle because I had no other option available to use another card. Most of the time I use this monster in the low mana battles. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works great for me in the low mana battles. I will soon upgrade it to level 2 for the Amplify ability.
4. CAPTAIN KATIE:
In the fourth position, I used
CAPTAIN KATIE
which is a Gladius edition rare magic attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 7 mana, does a -3 magic attack, and has 2 abilities Snipe and Bloodlust at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which its magic attack increases from -3 to -4. I used it in the fourth position and in this battle because of its high magic damage and Bloodlust abilities.
5. CELESTIAL HARPY:
In the fifth position, I used
CELESTIAL HARPY
which is also a Chaos Legion edition rare melee attack monster from the Life splinter. It costs 2 mana, does a -1 melee attack, and has 2 abilities Flying and Opportunity at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 3 in which its melee attack increases from -1 to -2. I used it in this battle because of its Opportunity ability and when it does attack it will also give the Blast damage. Currently, I have this monster at level 3 and it works fine for me.
6. VENARI CRYSTALSMITH:
In the last position, I used
VENARI CRYSTALSMITH
which is a Reward edition Range attack monster from the Life splinter. It costs 4 mana, does a -2 range attack, and has one ability Tank Heal
at level 4. I used it in this battle because of its Tank Heal ability which will restore the health of the monster in the first place. I have upgraded it to level 4 and most of the time I am using it in my battles when I am playing with the Life splinter.
Battle Result:
You can see in the screenshot below that I have lost this battle and I didn't get any rewards.
Did your strategy work?
No, my strategies didn't work for me in this battle due to which I lost it.
