Graffiti of My City | Peace | by @nafeela
Assalam Alikum and Hi, this is my participation post for contest Graffiti of my city week 46, Let's begin;
I was passing by my old college located in F-10 sector Islamabad, when i saw some newly painted Graffities on boundaries. The one above is my favourite written in Urdu and in such a form that it feels like a note pasted on wall.
Its written
!پپو یار جنگ نہ کر
Translation: papoo friend don't do war!
Papoo is a desi word Pakistanis epically Punjabis use as a name or somehow to show affection. The current situation in world only symbolises war which is awful, not only in Rusia but also in Seria, Afghanistan and many more countries where people are suffering because of the cruel leadership, even in Pakistan there are disputes between the Provincial people no doubt we love one another and our homeland but we still want to be prior to others. Which is sad. So just a message to beloved people not to be a part of war and hate which will only bring pain and sufferings
The next thing written is
امن
Translation: Peace
Urdu word translated to peace in e
English. Maybe the only thing we need in our lives.
Now this is not a note only to be written on walls we need to implement it in our daily lives. It's deep yet beautiful.** Because war ain't peace** the world don't need fight, war or hate.
Try to make life cool not cold (thumbs up)
