Considerations
Below is my post from January 2021 with the values from the beginning of the year: https://steemit.com/hive-184714/@stefano.massari/stem73-news-converting-sbd-to-steem-en-it
On 17 January 2021 I did a conversion of SBD into STEEM. At the beginning of the year the exchange rate was at 0.060900*, today the lowest ask to get a conversion in a few minutes is at 0.057263. With this exchange rate I have issued two orders:
1 - The first conversion order I did with 10 SBD setting the lowest recommended conversion value, i.e. 0.05726. In this way, as soon as the order is activated, I will receive 174 STEEM.
2 - The second conversion order I have made with 10 SBD by setting the conversion value lower than the recommended one, i.e. 0.055. In this way, as soon as the order is triggered (if the order is triggered, the exchange rate will not necessarily go that low) I will receive 181 STEEM
Conclusions
I find the SBD/STEEM conversion tool built into the Steemit Wallet interesting, it also allows you to place orders at an exchange rate value that is not the market value, but what may be a value that the market could reach. You can place conversion orders and leave them on the platform waiting or hoping that they will be triggered.
Question
What do you think about setting SBD/STEEM conversion orders at even lower values than the market value? Do you find this a useful tool?

Considerazioni

The first conversion order I did with 10 STEEM

Do you mean SBD instead of Steem? It is wonderful, but I haven't actually used it yet.

Thanks for this nice article @stefano.massari

yes you're right, I was really wrong, I meant SBD ... thanks for reporting now, I'm going to correct this article

Hello @stefano.massari, I did not know about this tool, thanks for this contribution...

Happy day.

Thanks for stopping by

Hello @stefano.massari
Of course it is a great tool, it obviously facilitates many processes and is quite secure, we know that orders can stay there for as long as needed.
And unfortunately not everyone knows that this tool exists.

I also noticed that many do not use these tools, I do not know if the reason is because it is difficult or because they have never heard of this. Now I will post about it in order to spread the knowledge.

And unfortunately not everyone knows that this tool exists.

Some people like me, would know it exists but we are eager to make the transactions fast, that's how the person that introduced me to the platform thought and I send the money to him to convert, so I won't want to waste his time when he wants to sell his steem and mine and give me the monetary value in our country's currency. But I think I will dive into more

place lower oder if market triger that value your order will be comleted if not then it will be pinding

In fact, I made two orders, the second is cheaper than the first, as soon as I have time I will go and see if the second order has also been activated. Thanks for stopping by, keep in touch

It is a very useful tool, I have used it, you can look in my wallet and you will see that I really did it, but I prefer to have SBD than steem, my idea is to collect a lot of these and wait for a good value to turn them into CARDANO which is the project for the one I've always bet on. it's slow, but it's not a problem for me

ADA, seems like a good project. I believe Steem and SBD would reach great heights in the future though.

Hi @gifxlove ,I agree with you .
I wish you a happy tuesday

I wish you a happy tuesday @lupega

Your strategy is interesting, do you know that by putting ADAs in Bittrex you receive monthly interest?

In this way, as soon as the order is triggered (if the order is triggered, the exchange rate will not necessarily go that low) I will receive 181 STEEM

I am trying to understand this. How many SBD did you use to get 181 Steem converted?

Hi Max, I used 10 SBD. thanks for reading and commenting

All right. Thanks for the feedback.
My internal market is not working and I can't see my tron balances in my wallet.

Yeah, I also got confused too, because he said 10 STEEM. Yeah, there was a time where 10 SBD was worth about 210 steem. Saving in Steem or SBD? I really don't know

Personally, I would say saving in SBD would be better off. Though I don't know how the conversion is being done, I would have my coin stocked on SBD cause the price has more potential to rise compared to steem and can be converted steem easily.

That seems like the way to go now. Saving in SBD it is then. Thanks for your feedback @maxwellmarcusart

Well, probably it is cool for you but for me, I have a better option aside those two. And that is saving in Steem power. The benefits are numerous but the most important one are that I get daily curation rewards and huge influence in the platform.

I guess you are new in this platform. You probably have a lot to learn.

thanks for the tip, I'll do it in the day
